Football Kenya Federation’s Electoral Board has released a preliminary list of candidates cleared to vie in the upcoming elections, scheduled to be held on November 23, (county polls) and December 7, 2019, (national elections).
The board has also revealed a list of aspirants who submitted their forms within the stipulated deadline but are yet to be cleared to vie, due to issues concerning the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the Electoral Code.
“We have revealed a preliminary list of candidates who we have cleared to vie at both the county and national level,” said Board Chairman Prof. Edwin Wamukoya.
“We have not cleared some of the aspirants due to issues we had with their eligibility as well as double endorsements. We will be verifying these in due course and will come back with verdicts on the aforementioned,” he added.
